In preparation to the entrance into force of the new EU-Organic regulation scheduled for 01/01/2022, Control Union is running a series of online events to highlight the changes, and what these mean for you.

In this first session, three topics will be presented and discussed:

  1. Structure of the new EU-Organic regulation
  2. Requirements for group of operators (ICS)
  3. Precautionary measures to be taken by operators (Art. 28 of 2018/848)


  • Know the reason for these changes.
  • Understand how the new EU-Organic regulation is structured and which are the relevant Implementing and Delegating Acts that will shape the future of the organic trade to the EU.
  • Get to know what are the main changes in relation to the certification of group of operators (ICS).
  • Understand how to move towards the compliance to these new requirements for group of operators.
  • Get informed on the set of new precautionary measures that will need to be adopted by certified operators.


The event is open to any stakeholder involved in the organic food supply chain.
