[FREE WEBINAR] Sustainability Reporting - The Right Way, 3-4 March 2021

In the past decade, a considerable number of textile companies and apparel brands have been disclosing their sustainability activities through publishing sustainability reports. Such activities include: ethical sourcing, water and energy use, climate change among others. More often than not, these reports have become useful tools in indicating a company’s sustainability performance.

Therefore, it is imperative that an organisation understands how to accurately report-qualitatively and quantitatively - on their performance by using standardized and industry accepted reporting metrics. For it is only then that the organization can effectively communicate their progress in their sustainability journey. This session is therefore designed to guide you on how to successfully align your sustainability report with industry accepted reporting standards (e.g. Global Reporting Index (GRI) ).

In the field of sustainability reporting, assurance is not just an effective tool to demonstrate the corporate’s commitment towards stakeholders but is also consists of an assessment of the sustainability strategy and the verification of qualitative and quantitative data which helps in managing the internal sustainability policy of the company. During this webinar, Control Union as a registered assurance provider for AA1000 assurance standard will share with you some of our experiences and perspectives towards the sustainability assurance market.
