Control Union has developed services around the sustainability of the industry’s supply chains which contribute to the certified production of more sustainable fibers and fabrics. As such we work with many brands and suppliers who are focused on the development of more sustainable products.

As one of the principle certification bodies, we want to inform you some changes regarding the Sustainability in the textile industry.

The EU Green Deal:
“Companies making ‘green claims’ should substantiate these against a standard methodology to assess their impact on the environment”. For which consider that Certification is an excellent way to validate this.
Changes on the Textile Exchanges standard: Content Claim Standard (CCS).

According to CCS101-V3.1 Content Claim Standard, section B1.1: Brands are required to be certified to the CCS 3.1 by April 1, 2023 if you are making public facing on-product claims.
